Welcome to Class Hussain

Thank you for all the home learning we got from the summer holidays. Class Hussain now has an abundance of books the children are eager to share and have read to the class; it has really got children excited about books and reading!

I also enjoyed your baking photographs - this term we will be making bread and will be looking to Nadiya for advice and guidance!

Welcome to Class Simmonds

Class Simmonds have made a fantastic start to Year One. I was delighted with their performance in the Early Years sports day, where they completed a circuit of activities led by the sports leaders of the school. We have spent also spent time looking at the importance of well-being. We have completed activities focussed on connecting and giving to others, keeping active, taking notice of their surroundings and learning something new. Children have enjoyed getting to know their new classroom and have impressed me with their creative ideas in the workshop area. I wish them a restful and exciting summer break and look forward to working with them in September.
