Seesaw and Safeguarding Update

Good Afternoon Class Blyton,

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

I am very proud of all of the fantastic work that you have been completing. It has been lovely to read and hear all about the exciting things that you have been getting up to! Thank you, Jack, for completing the Australia challenge I set for everybody last week. Your letter was fantastic! A big well done to Lauren for your brilliant art and science work and also to Mika and Leila, who are continuing to read daily at home. Keep up the good work everybody!

Just a reminder that our class TTRS battle ends this Wednesday – will it be the boys or the girls who will win? I can already see some very valuable players so keep going!

We are now going to be using Seesaw. Seesaw app is a platform that helps students and parents to keep connected. This app will allow children to share the fabulous learning that is taking place at home!

Please download the Seesaw app. Open the Seesaw Class app on iOS or Android or go to the Seesaw website on any computer. Choose I’m a student. On Tuesday Morning, we will send you a code that you will need to add to the app, in order to be able to access your child’s class. Once you have added the code, you will need to select your child’s name and then you can get started.

You will only have 1 hour to add the code before it expires. You will not need another code unless you log out of the app. Please email me using my school email address if you have any problems with this.

By logging on and adding your child’s work, you are giving consent for this to be shared on the Seesaw app page. Anything posted will not appear until the class teacher has approved it. Once approved, the only people who can see the content are the people within the class who have logged in.

Safeguarding

You can download the latest CEOP #OnlineSafetyAtHome pack for parents. This pack includes new activities for Parents and Carers to use at home. Please select the 5 – 7 age group.

You can also still find all previous home activity packs on the CEOP Parents and Carers website. These can be downloaded at any time you choose.

Here is a website which also might provide you with some additional information. I hope you find it useful.

Please continue to check this blog page weekly, in order to keep up to date with all of our class information.

Have a lovely week every body and well done on your fantastic efforts so far.

Best wishes,

Miss Boyes
