Hello Class Chanel,
As many of you have heard from Boris Johnson's announcement, we are back in an official lockdown and, as a result, school will be closed until further notice. This means that, from now on, all learning will be taking place remotely - unless you have been given a place a school.
These next few weeks are going to be run slightly differently from the first lockdown in March, however, we believe this change will be for the better! From Thursday 7th January, I will be delivering live lessons to you all via Microsoft Teams. You have already been set up with an account and you will see an invitation to our first lesson already. If you're struggling to log in, please email me on: email@example.com and I will assist you.
We will be following a strict timetable moving forward, so it is important that you are online at the allocated times. You will see a timetable attached to this blog post and it is also available to view on Seesaw under your 'Activities' tab, along with some expectations when using the app. Please read this carefully.
Once each live lesson is completed, there will be a follow-up task for your child to complete on Seesaw. As previously stated, this is a very new experience for us all so we will be treating Thursday and Friday's lessons as 'practices' until we are all confident using this new technology!
Until Thursday, please continue to complete your current homework and learn your spellings. Make sure you are also reading your reading book and going on TTRockstars and Doodle Maths. Remote learning will commence from Thursday 7th January at 9am. I look forward to seeing you all there!
Look after yourselves and keep everyone safe,
