Settling in....

It has been fantastic welcoming the children back into class over the last few weeks. I have been astounded by how resilient they have all been with settling back into a new kind of normal here at Malton Primary. Children are being so sensible with the additional hand washing and systems that they are having to complete. I am already a very proud teacher, having had some lovely comments by other staff and the lunchtime supervisors about the class.

It's nearly the holidays...

It's  finally here, the last week of term! Well done to all of you for staying postive throughout it all and working so hard in such uncertain times. You have all made me so proud! I am sad not to have completed the year with you all in class, but I will see you all in September. This is the last set of home learning that I will be setting. School is due to finish on Wednesday so you may not complete all of the activities but do as much as you can. This week's activities;

Welcoming Year 1 to Seesaw

Following on from the success of the introduction to the Seesaw learning platform to the rest of the school, Year One is now ready to go live and join the action.

A text will be sent out to all parents of the class with a code. You will need to go onto whichever device you would like to use for yuor child's learning (I recommend you use as many devices as you can, as some activities work best on a phone whilst others a computer) Load the SeeSaw app from the play store and enter the code. You only have 60mins from the time the code is published to use this code. If you miss this time slot please email me s.miller@maltonprimary.org and I will send you a new one. Follow this link for a tutorial https://web.seesaw.me/parents.

We enjoyed takeaway a board game and a long dog walk. If anyone else is celebrating their birthdays, please do send us a picture to post on the next blog.
