Y5 Home Learning Update

Hello Class Lennon!

It is Miss Blenkin here! Welcome back to the new half term – the last one of this year before the summer holidays! This year has gone very fast but I want to say a big well done for all the work you’ve been completing at home! You worked exceptionally hard last half term and Miss Lackenby and I are very proud of you all!

If you haven’t already seen on your Seesaw page, I have posted a video with some important updates with regards to our Home Learning as we move into the final term of Year 5. Moving forward, I am going to be posting Home Learning for both Year 4 and Year 5 and I appreciate your cooperation and support as we continue with this.

Class Teacher Update: May Half Term Holiday

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are remaining well. I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge well done to every child who has logged in and worked so very conscientiously on Seesaw and on other learning patterns and projects at home. I have had the pleasure of receiving some outstanding, completed tasks and heart-warming messages. It has been incredible to hear from you and watch you work daily. You have embraced Seesaw and held your concentration to ensure that your learning continues, even in an emotionally challenging time. You deserve a great deal of praise for this and know that I am sending it to you! I really must stress now just how important it is for you to all take a break from school work and play. Go and do what makes you feel happy. Teachers will not be setting any work or providing feedback during half term (week commencing 25th May 2020). E-mails will be answered after the school holiday (week commencing 1st June 2020). For now, follow all government advice and remain kind as we prepare to re-build things, together. Sending my very best wishes to you all. I am proud to be your teacher. Amy Lackenby
