Class King have worked so hard since their return to school. They continue to amaze me with the resilience that they have shown over such a difficult period.
Class King I am so proud of how you have all coped with the last few weeks. After making a fantastic start on the first day of term we have all really had to dig deep and be so resilient and principled in our learning. Some of us are having to cope with the demands of working at home and missing our friends, whilst others are learning to cope with changes to teachers and routines in school. You are all such a credit to Malton Primary School in the way in which you are coping. I have loved receiving your online learning and seeing you each day for our ‘Live Lessons’. My highlights from the last couple of weeks include;
Abigail and Delilah’s dramatic puppet versions of ‘The feeding of the 5000
I hope that Class King have had a restful half term and are ready to return on Monday. Just looking through the photos for this post I am struck by all that the class have achieved over the first half term. I enjoyed so much relaying my feedback to parents over the phone consultations last week and it was lovely to hear how much their children are reporting enjoying being back to school.
It has been fantastic welcoming the children back into class over the last few weeks. I have been astounded by how resilient they have all been with settling back into a new kind of normal here at Malton Primary. Children are being so sensible with the additional hand washing and systems that they are having to complete. I am already a very proud teacher, having had some lovely comments by other staff and the lunchtime supervisors about the class.
