Right and wrong

Happy New Year to all,

Already, it seems like the holiday is a distant memor and we are now full steam ahead into  our new enquiry (right and wrong), and our new literacy focus (mystery writing).

We began our term with a ‘Murder Mystery’ afternoon. It was a great success.  Thank you so much to parents who rushed around to create costumes for the event. None of the children expected to find out that Miss Sharpe’s character was the culprit!

The title says it all – it is amazing just how quickly the first half term has gone by.

Firstly, I would like to once again thank parents for your support with home learning and uniform. Both areas have been excellent over the last few weeks and I look forward to this continuing into the next half term.

Autumn has arrived…

Hello to all,

 

I’d like to begin with another ‘thank you’ to parents and carers. Home learning has been completed promptly and returned which is great to see. Thank you for your support in this matter as it really helps to support the work we do in class. Another thank you is for the regular PE kits which the children have in school. This week we had a little change, but it will return to Thursday next week.

Welcome Back!

Hello and a warm welcome back to all parents and carers. I have be inundated with summer holiday stories and it’s great to find out about what the children have been doing whilst we’ve been away.

My first point is a big ‘thank you’ to all parents. The children looked incredibly smart in their uniforms and I was happy to see that all children arrived with full kit ready for PE. I’m currently trying to teach half the class the secret to tying a tie!
